Weekend Journal

In the weekend I did stuff and things. Firstly on Friday night me and dad went out to look for a deer. We were driving down the track and we saw a deer on the bush line with the spotlight but it was running like speedy Gonzales to the bush. we didn't get it though, Later that night we saw another one up on a hill but it was too far away. On Saturday i went to Theo and Nikos house to get a ride into league. We lost to cobden but we scored 2 tries. On Sunday I woke up at 9:30 and help around the house I took some stuff to the dump and then I shot at some old full beer cans. I shot one of the backs out of the cans and beer exploded everywhere. Then I made cinnamon and chocolate chip doughnuts. That was my weekend.

The Kitchen stove review

The Kitchen Stove by Eric Wilson created in 1943 is an abstract piece of art that is a collage depicting a kitchen stove. In the picture if you look at the piece of art in the right angles you can see these things: a knife, a cupboard, a cat and mouse, some tinned food, a teapot and keys. The background is a badge colour that fits perfectly with the more vibrant foreground colors that pop out at you. He has used the cubism style and also used paints and collage. All of the items in this piece are stacked up on top of each other in a collage form so that you can see the items on the bottom briefly.

This is a wonderfully done piece of art that makes me feel mystified and second guessing myself, wanting to know more.

For me at a first glance this artwork looks like the front window of a music shop with all of the instruments lined up behind each other; I would call it the music shop. But once I learned the title of the art was called the kitchen stove, you start to see the normal things you find in the kitchen but on a collage.

This artwork makes me feel mystified because you can’t decide what the piece really is. My mind says to me it’s a music shop but the artist deliberately makes you second guess yourself when looking at this piece.

I can make a connection to this piece of art because I have tend to help out in the kitchen. Sometimes I cut and peel the vegetables and prepare the food.

Overall this piece of art Is beautiful and well rounded, that makes me feel deceived whenever I see the artwork.

Weekend Journal.

In the long weekend I did a lot. on saturday morning i woke up at six to be on the road at 7 to go to christchurch. we had to be there at 9:45 to watch my brother play rugby. We we\ got there he scored a try and the he scored one straight after his first. Near the end of the game he took a knee to the head and got a big cut above his eye. After his game Dad, Bridget and I went to My Nana's place while Mum and shaun went to 24 hour surgery to get stitches. After that Shaun, Dad and I went to the Crusaders vs Highlanders. Unfortunately the Highlanders lost 22-25. After that we went back home. On sunday we didn't do much apart from go out hunting for deer. we didn't see any deer. But on our way out there was this hare that we took a shot at it and blew its back leg out. On monday Dad and shaun went out and looked for shami. The didn't get anything. later that night shaun went back on the plane. that was my weekend

Weekend Journal

In the weekend I did alot of things. Firstly I went to play a game of leauge which was town vs country. I was in the country team but we lost. Then I went to the warehouse and brought Theo and Niko there birthday presents. After I went to there place for a sleepover with Ridge,Tylar and Jakob. We lit some fireworks then went down the track to see the glowworms. We then watched a movie and then fell asleep. The next morning we played a game that there were 3 cops and 3 robbers. I was one of the robbers i only got caught once. Later that day we went paintballing. I only got shot 3 times. Once in the nipple, once in the mask and once in the foot. It was really fun. Our team won 4 points to 0. After that i went home. That was my weekend.

Dance Style Information

This term we are learning how people use the arts to communicate. We have investigated the characteristics of different dance styles, we practiced our notetaking skills. We experimented with each style ourselves and created our own dance sequences.

Weekend Journal

In the weekend I didn't really do much. On Saturday I played a game of league against Waro-Rakau/ Marist at blackball. We lost by a bit. I went home after the game, had a shower and waited 5 hours to watch the highlanders game at 9:40. Then I went to sleep in my old bed for the last time for now. On Sunday We had one of mums friend come over. Later that night we took a spare bed out of my room and put a new double bed in that no one had used. I have Theo and Niko my 2 friends coming over this afternoon which im looking foward to. That was my weekend.

In class lately we have been writing narratives and responses to narratives. I decided to review Hidden life written by Zak Klempel.

In the weekend I didn't do much. Firstly on friday I went to see my sister play hockey. On saturday I played a game of league at Dobson Against Suburbs. We lost. Since that Theo and Niko needed a ride home we  took them back to there place. After that we went home and watched the Crusaders game. Then I went to sleep but woke up at one in the morning and watched the highlanders game. After that I went back to bed. I woke up again on that sunday morning. I gave mum her mothers day gift that I made at tech. I didn't do much on sunday. That was my weekend

In the weekend I Did a lot. Firstly I woke up at 5 Am to watch the Highlanders game. I didn't go out duck shooting because I was watching the game. Later that afternoon I played a game of League against Cobden. We got absolutely hammered because they had way more players than us. After the game I went home. At 7 that night Me, Dad, Ross And Louie went out hare Shooting. We got 19 hares in one night. We chased one hare and it was running at about 90 Kilometers an hour. On Sunday me and Bridget went outside and walked down the road to sell raffle tickets for Bridget hockey club. That was my weekend.
