Weekend Journal

In the weekend I did a lot of things. Firstly on Saturday, Dad and I went out looking for a Deer. We walked from the Cottage to the Deer entrance. When we come out of the riverbed and up the bank there it was. A young Stag standing there just waiting to get shot. Dad had a whole lot of stag in his scope but missed because His scope wasn't sighted in at the time. After that we went home and sighted the scope in. At 7:30 I watched the Highlanders game which they won. On Sunday Bridget and I planted our dog's garden who passed away last Friday. On monday since that we had a Teachers only day I could stay at home. We moved our old TV that doesn't work after it being plugged in during the big January storm to the paddock so I could Grab my slug gun and started to shoot at it After the 3rd shot in the same spot I put a massive crack in it. I used about half of my slugs on the TV and Half of it was completely destroyed. If it is fine this afternoon i am going to finish it off.

Weekend journal

In the weekend i didn't do much. On Saturday i went to watch Bridget play hockey. After that we went to Mark and Toni's place to have a catch up with them. After that we got home and I watched Gulliver's travels then went to bed. On Sunday it was a bit of a miserable. We went for a 3 hour drive down to Hari Hari to collect our meat from the butcher. We got there at 4 and after we finished talking at 6 we drove back and made it home at 9 after a feed of fish and chips.

Weekend journal

My weekend started on Friday where i had to leave at 7:30 in the morning to be in Christchurch at 10 Am to be at St beades College. After these 2 people called Harry And Nick took me for a tour around the boarding school and day school we went to My great nana's for a chat with her in our 1 hour gap between the tour and my Interview with the Rector MR Boyle. Harry told be a couple of hours before you either go to the Rectors Office for a bad thing of a good thing. my interview went quite well and he said to me you have a 95% chance of being accepted because he said to me that he doesn't like to split families After my interview we drove home. On saturday I helped dad out on the farm while bridget and mum were at hockey. when they came back I sorted out my junk draw.

Maths riddle

In Class for maths we had to do solve a riddle by solving different maths problems with decimals. Our task was to make one of our own. We then chose our own riddle and made our decimal word problems for other people to solve. We put the answers down the bottom and then the other people have to solve the problem there is a png below that you enlanrge take a screenshot. put it on  seperate document and you can print  can print out to use the sheet.

Weekend Journal

In the weekend It was just Bridget,Dad and I at home in the weekend because mum was in Napier with her friends. On Saturday it was really hot and we were left with the ute without air conditioning out on the farm. After we moved the calfs and fenced off the riparian strip we went up to fred's place. after that we went home and did nothing much. On sunday I didn't do much. At 6 in the morning while Dad was putting out grass seed he saw a Stag out by rocky creek. then went back inside to grab his gun and when he got back there the Stag beat him up to rocky creek. I would write more but i have run out of time.

Science Roadshow Reflection

Today Our class went into Greymouth to the Science Roadshow. A roadshow about science run by the ministry of education. There were lots of hands on exhibits which made it really fun to learn about different sciences. In the first part we were learning about physical change and chemical change. I learnt about newtons and how they are heavier than kg's. I think that we didn't have enough time to explore the exhibits personally. I got about half way around the hall but then we had to come back inside. One thing that they did was made elephant toothpaste which ruma m had done before so i knew what i was expecting. But then it expanded way bigger than I thought. Overall it was a good day and future classes should go there.
